The SIC’s School of Nursing, which opened in AY: 2007-2008, had its first    capping, pinning, badge investiture and candle lighting ceremonies last May 27, 2009 of the  Nursing students who qualified to proceed to the second level .  The Ceremonies were held at D’ Garden Party Venue with the presence of the administrators, faculty, parents and Guest of Honor from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 10, Dr. Bernarda C. Lleno, Supervisor III Health Programs.

SIC culminates its year-long (July 2008-July 2009) celebration of the 60th Foundation Anniversary on July 18, 2009.  The ambience of the campus is set on a barrio fiesta celebration of joy manifested in the food, decoration, attire, games, dances and songs.  The dominant expression of the day is thanksgiving of God’s gifts to San Isidro College.  Three of SIC’s Seven Core Values are focused for the celebration:  Spirituality, Human Person and Nationalism and Cultural Integration.

Due to public demand, SIC opens its kindergarten school starting this School Year: 2009-2010. Parents can now send their younger children to K1 or K2 at SIC. This is favorable to parents whose older children are studying at SIC Grade School because there is only one stop to fetch their children.
